G1

The long awaited open source Android Operating System from Google presently only exists on the G1 with the T-Mobile network. There has been a lot of excitement behind this OS, and many believe it has the potential to change the way we all interact with our cell phones.

Manufactured by HTC, the handset itself is not that exciting. The unique thing about this phone is the fact that it is the first to run the Android OS. Some of the hiccups or shortcomings of the G1 might turn some people away, but the G1 has great potential to become a powerful mobile mini-computer.

LG Shine

The LG Shine is a sleek metal phone with a unique screen. When the screen is not in use, it has a reflective mirror finish, but once it becomes active the screen is then viewable from all angles. This slider phone by LG looks somewhat simple from the outside, but this does not mean it is not full of features.
